About the problem
There are a few different factors that contribute to an H2S (rotten egg/ sulphur smell) problem such as a soft water well with high bicarbonates, a hard water well with sulphate reducing bacteria, or if you got a new water heater, this may be your problem.
Removing the smell from your water may require an iron filter - which removes smell and iron,
- or the removal of your abode rod on your water heater,
- or a well chlorination,
- or possibly a chlorine injection system.

THE SOLUTIONs
Potassium Permanganate Iron Filter

Chlorine Injection System
To remove the smell and control the bacteria, a chlorine injection pump with a backwashing filter will solve your problem. If you have a slow producing well you SHOULD NOT shock chlorinate it.
If you have a severe bacteria problem and the well is older you SHOULD NOT shock chlorinate it.
